Families with children are specially welcome to Mas Saline. The large garden and fields surrounding the house is a paradise for kids, who can practice all kind of activities in nature without having to leave the property: biking, horseback riding, pool games, volley, football, running, bird watching... 

​The house is in the heart of the 'Emporda-Costa Brava', you'll be very close to all the wonders and attractions of this privileged mediterranean region. The best beaches and coves are less than 10 miles away.  The world class diving area of 'Medas Islands', and the long beach of Pals, both only 5 miles away, are the places  for water sports: Windsurf, Kitesurf, Diving, Hobie Cat, boat trips, fishing... 

The Costa Brava is rapidly becoming known as Spain’s best golfing destination. 3 world class Golf courses are less than 10 min by car from the house, and the PGA Catalunya (ranked #1 golf course in Spain 2013 and 2014) is only 25 miles away.  The medieval village of Torroella de Montgri, with all the services, and its slow food stores is just 1 mile away.  Other famous medieval villages like Pals, Begur, Peratallada, La Bisbal, Monells, are less than 10 minutes away by car. 

Day trips to amazing Barcelona, or to the old quarter of Girona are also truly affordable while staying in Mas Saline.

Mas Saline is 25 miles to Dali's Museum in Figueres, 20 miles to Girona, 80 miles to Barcelona and 40 miles to the French border.
