One of the most impressive Easter Processions in southern Europe is held every year, since the middle ages, in neighbour village of Verges (10 Km away).



Everyone in the village is taking part in this unique event, which has 2 main parts:
- A representation in the open air theater (Main Square).
- A public procession, across the narrow streets of the medieval village, until midnight.

The medieval recreations performed in the Verges procession are unique, and are exclusive of this catalan village. All bars and shops are open through the night. The village is vibrating and the natives and their guests are watching from their balconies.  An experience you do not want to miss! Even without a ticket, you can watch the magnificent procession as it moves through the streets.
